WATCH: Billy Eichner sends a challenge to Mike Pence on the Late Show
Gay comedian Billy Eichner had some words about Trump and his running mate on the Late Show last night.
Not surprisingly, Billy Eichner isn’t a fan of this year’s Republican presidential nominee – Donald Trump.
However, when he talked to Stephen Colbert on the Late Show last night most of his hate was targetted at Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
Eichner was expressing his love for Senator Elizabeth Warren when Colbert asked him his thoughts on the GOP nominee.
“It’s not only just the policies,” he said about his disagreement with the Trump/Pence duo. “It’s also the other things they have to do now.
“There is no way I will survive Mike Pence doing Carpool Karaoke. What song’s he gonna sing? ‘I Deported Your Grandmother’?”
Eichner continued, saying Trump was at least a “little gay-friendly,” but made a major misstep in selecting Pence as his running mate – mainly for his support of conversion therapy.
A segment from his show “Billy on the Street,” inspired Eichner to send an on-air challenge to Mr Pence to test his theories on the dangerous and discredited practice.
“So here’s my idea,” he said. “I have asked on my show, who’s hotter: Barack Obama or Abraham Lincoln? I usually say Barack Obama, but I now actually want a three-way with Mike and Karen Pence.
“Because if you think you can convert me, I want to see you try. Bring it on, Karen Pence!”
