Cara Delevingne: ‘If people want to say I’m gay, that’s great’
The former supermodel says she is ācompletely in loveā with her girlfriend, who she credits with āchanging her lifeā.
Suicide Squad star Cara Delevingne has opened up about her same-sex relationship with her rumoured fiancee Annie Clark.
The Enchantress actress says she is truly bewitched by her other half, who Delevingne says has taught her the true āmeaning of loveā.
āIām completely in love,ā she told Vogue. āBefore, I didnāt know what love was ā real love. I didnāt understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world.
āNow I know the meaning of life is love. Whether thatās for yourself or for the world or your partner.ā
The model ā who is rumoured to have recently proposed to Clark ā also discussed her sexuality, which she refused to label ā although she is more than happy for other people to.
āIām obviously in love, so if people want to say Iām gay, thatās great. But weāre all liquid ā we change, we grow.ā
Delevingne ā who last month discussed her battle with depression ā went on to admit that as a child, she used the word āgayā as an insult.
āAs a child I used āgayā as a bad world, as in, āThatās so gayā. All my friends did.ā
Delevingne ā who recently revealed her reasons for giving up a life on the catwalk ā also stressed the importance of equal pay for women in Hollywood.
āI would probably still do it even if I wasnāt paid at all,ā she explained. āBut in terms of equal pay, I need to be paid the same as the guy who has equal billing with me.
āOtherwise I wonāt do it. Because if you accept less, youāre just letting everyone else down and continuing the cycle.ā
