Amy Schumer had ‘perfect’ one night stand after her ex-boyfriend came out as gay
Hollywood star Amy Schumer has opened up about having the “perfect” one night stand after her boyfriend came out as gay.
Schumer said the one-time-only one night stand with a man named Sam happened when her now ex-boyfriend came out as gay.
Writing in her autobiography, the film star described Sam as a “beautiful, masculine fantasy man”, saying he gave her a “sexual boost of confidence”.
She writes in ‘The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo’: “I’ve only had one one-night stand in my life… I’m sorry to disappoint anyone.”
Adding: “I really needed a boost of sexual confidence during that time of my life.
“This person who made me feel beautiful and sexy for so long was attracted to men. When you get older and wiser, you get your confidence from within, not from the person you are having sex with.”
Schumer writes that she lost her confidence and questioned herself after her boyfriend came out as gay.
Of her current boyfriend Ben Hanisch, she told Marie Claire UK: “There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it’s the truth.’
She added: “Being in love is the scariest thing in the world. You want to f***ing cry and scream. I can’t handle it.
“Every time we say goodbye, I think, ‘This will have been a nice last week together.’ Or I tell myself nothing is real and he’s going to leave me and tell me he never loved me.”
Earlier this year Schumer teamed up with Seth Rogan to star in a same-sex marriage-inclusive Bud Light advert.
The comic last year ‘outed’ movie star BFF Jennifer Lawrence as ‘gay’ after it was announced the pair will write a film together.
Schumer also made one couple’s engagement photo even more memorable by popping in wearing running gear to photobomb the event.
