Here’s why a Snapchat video of this Brazilian swimmer could land you in jail
During Rio, we all couldnāt help but thirst over some of the athletes.
In fact, itās not just the Olympics that get LGBT media salivating every time a celebrity gets caught naked on a beach or has their social media pics leaked.
Orlando Bloom, for instance, is just one of the latest to get caught out and he certainly wonāt be the last.
Sometimes, however, the media arenāt as perceptive as they probably should be when it comes to checking some of these images and thatās when there can be problems.
Problems just like the one in this story.
Eduardo Amaral was one of Brazilās swimmers, competing for the country in Rio.
Now, Iām sure youāll agree with us, heās handsome, right?
Well, according to Brazilās Confederation of Aquatic Sports heās also only 17! Uh oh.
Yesterday (August 23), an article was published on the Facebook page of a site called āPop goes the newsā.
It blasted a number of LGBT websites such as the āGaily Xā and āInstinct Magazineā for linking to a Snapchat video that showed the alleged underage swimmer pulling down his shorts to reveal something very NSFW (naturally, weāre not going to talk about exactly what, but it doesnāt take a genius to guess).
Around the world, the distribution of sexual images that feature anyone under the age of 18 are illegal. Since Eduardo doesnāt turn 18 until September 30, it pointed out that these sites could find themselves in some very hot water.
As far as PinkNews can tell āInstinctā has removed the link from its Facebook page. āGaily Xā has not.
