Pornhub reveals what gay guys are searching for

Pornhub has revealed what UK-based gay guys are actually searching for – and it turns out the overwhelming winner is straight guys.

The online porn giant released a breakdown this week of the searches in the UK.


Its Insight team revealed: “The most viewed category on Pornhub Gay in the United Kingdom is ‘Straight Guys’, followed by ‘Black’.

“They were also the two most popular gay categories in the United States, although ‘Black’ came first among Americans. Falling into third place is ‘Daddy’.

“When compared to the rest of the world, the ‘Fetish’ category is 48% more popular among gay viewers in the U.K. and gay ‘twink’ videos are also 45% more popular in the U.K.

“The most popular gay search in the U.K. is ‘straight first time’, which was also the number one search in the United States. Of the top 10 gay searches, we found that half involve videos featuring straight guys.

“The top relative searches showed that regional slang like “british chav” is nearly 1200% more popular in the U.K., along with ‘chav’, ‘british lads’, ‘english lads’ and ‘wanking’.”

Meanwhile in the US, ‘black’ is a more popular category than ‘straight guys’.

The Insight team added: “The following chart ranks the top 20 gay categories across the entire United States. By far ‘Black’ is the most popular category, followed by ‘Straight guys’, ‘Bareback’ and ‘Big Dick’ videos. Bringing up the rear are ‘Japanese’, ‘Massage’, ‘Fetish’ and ‘Solo Male’.


“The top terms include variations of Straight and Black guys including ‘straight first time’, ‘big black dick’, ‘straight friend’ and ‘black daddy’.

“Gay videos featuring ‘college roomates’ are popular, along with athletically inclined searches like ‘coach’ and ‘locker room’. We also find a significant number of searches for videos featuring ‘married’ gay couples.”
