A dentist has been indicted for allegedly sexually abused male patients while they were under anaesthetic.
Bilal Ahmed, 44, of Potomac, Maryland, worked as a dentist in Washington DC.
According to court documents, a patient claims that when a face mask used to administer nitrous oxide anaesthetic came off during a dental procedure, he found Ahmed forcing him to perform oral sex.
Two other men have also accused the dentist of sexually assaulting them while they were under anesthesia, according to reports.
According to the Washington Post, Ahmed was this week indicted on 21 total felony counts, including 14 of sexual abuse, four misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and three misdemeanor counts of assault.
He previously worked in the Universal Smiles dental practice in DC.
A former office manager for the dental practise, Mahsa Azimirad, has also been indicted on a charge accusing her of lying to a grand jury during the investigation.
