Trump bumper sticker supports confederate flag beating up LGBT flag
A sticker supporting Trump’s presidency has been released and it shows a stick figure filled in with the confederate flag beating up another stick figure filled in with the pride flag.
Underneath the sticker, which is intended for car bumpers, reads ‘Trump 2016’.
The sticker is being sold by US-based decals vendor, Fast Decals.
Two varieties of the sticker are on offer online, with one portraying a confederate flag kicking a rainbow flag, and vice versa.
They are described simply as ‘LGBT Rainbow Flag Kicking Confederate Flag Decal’, and customers have the option to customise the size and material.
The bumper sticker fails to reference debate over showing support and pride in the confederate flag considering its ties to racism and slavery.
Fast Decals offers a range of decal stickers on its website.
Earlier this month Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence confirmed that the GOP runner will roll back Obama’s LGBT rights protections.
Trump claimed he would “consider” appointing ultra-conservative Supreme Court justices to repeal equal marriage, came out in favour of North Carolina’s anti-trans law, and confirmed he would sign a Republican-backed bill to directly permit religious homophobic discrimination.
The protestor was put in a headlock by the supporter, who also had a Human Rights Campaign sticker on his ‘Make America Great Again’ cap and was holding a rainbow flag.
