WATCH: Trump supporter wants America before the ‘homosexuals’
A Donald Trump supporter told CBS News that she hopes the Republican runner will take America back to a time before abortions and “the homosexuals.”
The supporter was one of many voters that John Dickerson, the Face the Nation host, sat and interviewed about their political stance following the final presidential debate.
The Trump supporter, Barbara, explained that she sided with the GOP runner because his “morality and values” are important to her.
“Based on what the country was based on, I think that the laws that Obama has passed, the way the country has, I call it down turning.”
“Some of the other people are proud of it and happy for it. I personally am against it, the homosexuals, the abortions. All the stuff, I am against,” she said.
Dickerson interrogated her on her stance, and enquired whether what she was describing was what she thought would make America ‘great again.’
“That’s part of it,” Barbara agreed.
Barbara went on to say Hillary Clinton needed to prayer, along with the rest of the country. She also denied that Clinton was in for a chance of winning the upcoming November election.
“She needs prayer. The country always needs prayer,” said the Trump supporter.
The LGBT political group, Log Cabin Republicans, announced that they will not endorse Donald Trump this week following a series on anti-LGBT moves by the presidential hopeful.
