Is a drag queen mayor about to be the next Secretary of State?
A former mayor who once dressed as a drag queen to fundraise is tipped to become the next Secretary of State.
Rudy Giuliani, an early support of the next President, is believed to be the top choice for the job after he gave a speech at the Wall Street Journal CEO council meeting outlining his foreign policy vision.
The former New York Mayor already has a role within Trump’s transition team and was believed to be an early favourite.
According to the Wall Street Journal, several times throughout his speech he made reference to the fact he was interested in the job as well as details about how his views overlapped with Trump.
In a video recently rediscovered by PinkNews, Donald Trump can be seen ‘motorboating’ Mr Giuliani as he appears dressed as a woman.
It’s reported that in his speech the former Presidential hopeful spoke of Isis and the US relationship with Russia and China.
He highlighted how a Trump administration prioritise renegotiating the Iran nuclear deal.
As Mayor of New York, Mr Giuliani brought about protections for same-sex couples and ensured all LGBT city employees got equal benefits for their partners.
Other names also in the mix are Newt Gingrich, former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, John Bolton, Richard Haass and Senators Bob Corker and Jeff Sessions.
