American girls are the world’s biggest consumers of Pornhub lesbian content
Female Pornhub users are mostly watching lesbian porn, and American girls are the genre’s biggest consumers.
During their “What Women Want” insights study, Pornhub discovered ‘lesbian’ came top in women’s porn searches globally, and that in North America women are 186% more likely to search for lesbian porn than men are.
North American women are also 63% more likely to search for lesbian porn than anywhere else in the world, and women in the US proportionately show 16% more lady love interest compared to their Canadian neighbours.
The most popular subcategories that catch these ladies’ eyes are ‘lesbians scissoring’, ‘lesbian seduces straight girl’, ‘lesbian strap on’ and ‘lesbian squirt’.
When compared to male Pornhub users – who are also partial to searching a lesbian video or two – women are proportionately 695% more likely to search for ‘lesbians scissoring’ than their male counterparts.
Women are also 272% more likely to search for ‘lesbian strap on’.
According to the data, it’s the younger ladies who are most interested in watching lesbian videos, and the stats show that interest in searching lesbian porn gradually dwindles as women get older.
Women aged 18 – 24 at 31% more likely to search for lesbian porn than others age groups, and the over 65s are far less interested in the adult lesbian content on offer.
As for which American states are most interested in lesbian porn, it’s the Southern states that just can’t get enough. Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi all have proportionately the most lesbian porn searches in the US.
