Jonas Brother and DNCE star Joe Jonas has revealed which ā€œolder, matureā€ actor heā€™d like to play his gay lover.

In a new interview, Joe reveals that he wants an older gay on-screen lover. He may just be trying to keep up with brother Nick, who has played gay several times.

ā€œIā€™d say for sure Daniel Craig. I think Matthew McConaughey is a hunk of a man,ā€ Joe says in the interview with Pridesource.

ā€œIā€™d have to go with George Clooney.ā€

Jonas last week revealed he receives ā€œstraight nudityā€ and pictures of ā€œyou-know-whatā€ on social networking sites.

The 27-year-old singer said heā€™s been getting direct messages regularly since beefing up, and just has to ā€œfind something good in it ā€“ or laugh, depending on what it is.ā€

He told PrideSource that many now assume heā€™s gay, including paparazzi who regularly chase him down with the question ā€“ but itā€™s not an issue.

ā€œI donā€™t have an issue with it. I think itā€™s a compliment,ā€ he said.

ā€œI have a lot of gay fans. Itā€™s not like it bothers me. Some people handle it differently, but at the end of the day, Iā€™m cool with it and think itā€™s kind of funny.ā€

Some of the rumours may come from his Instagram account, where he shares shots of his life with more than five million followers.

The singer also revealed his reaction to Donald Trumpā€™s election, saying he was ā€œbummedā€ at the result.

ā€œNow, itā€™s time to come together, and thereā€™s going to be some positive things hopefully. It may suck, but I love this country and I think thatā€™s what itā€™s about.ā€
