Tom Ford: All men should try being penetrated
Fashion designer and film producer Tom Ford has claimed that all men need to try being sexually penetrated – for one very good reason.
The ‘A Single Man’ director made the characteristically-outspoken comments in an interview with GQ Magazine, when the interviewer brought up a previous inebriated encounter for the same mag, when Ford had propositioned a reporter.
Ford, who insisted in the previous interview that a heterosexual male reporter should try “being penetrated”, initially tried to walk back his point… before doubling down on his comments instead.
He says: “All men should be f**ked. I think it would help them understand women.
“It’s such a vulnerable position to be in, and it’s such a passive position to be in. And there’s such an invasion, in a way, that even if it’s consensual, it’s just very personal.
“I think there’s a psyche that happens because of it that makes you understand and appreciate what women go through their whole life, because it’s not just sexual, it’s a complete setup of the way the world works, that one sex has the ability to literally – and is expected to and is wanted to – but also there’s an invasion.
“I think that that’s something most men do not understand at all.”
Ford previously infuriated the anti-gay Catholic League with a range of penis-themed pendants in the shape of a cross.
Bill Donohue of the Catholic League launched an attack on the designer’s sexuality.
The anti-gay group’s leader said: “When we learned of this item, I said to the staff that I bet this guy Tom Ford is a homosexual. I was right. He even thinks he’s married.”
Ford is married to long-time partner Richard Buckley. The pair have a son, Alexander.
