‘Furious’ Ellen DeGeneres makes Kathy Griffin break down in tears

Kathy Griffin has revealed Ellen was “furious” after she made disparaging remarks about the daytime TV host.
The pair have been feuding for a while now, and since Griffin made comments in her book the fued has escalated significantly.
“She was furious,” Griffin said to Access Hollywood.
The pair had a row over the phone according to Griffin.
“She was really on a rant… ‘I don’t have to have anyone on my show I don’t want,'” Griffin said DeGeneres shouted down the phone.
“After the phone call I literally started sobbing,” Griffin said.
“At the end of the day, whether we like each other or not, I’m always going to support a woman, over fifty, in the game, and making a great living.”
Kathy Griffin previously said DeGeneres “has a mean streak” that is “well known throughout Hollywood”.
In Griffin’s book, Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index, she says: “I’m almost positive a certain beloved daytime talk show host once had me kicked out of a backstage dressing room at the Emmy Awards.
“I can’t prove it, but this person, who has short blonde hair, has a mean streak that all of Hollywood knows about.”
The 56-year-old told US Weekly her feud with DeGeneres began in 2007.
“Ellen did a monologue about how mean I am,” Griffin told the magazine.
“I was in the dressing room like, ’Sh*t! You’re another woman comic, c’mon!’”
