Kanye West says he talked with Trump about ‘multi-cultural issues’, may run in 2024

After saying he would have voted for the President-elect, Kanye West has met up with Donald Trump and said he talked about “multi-cultural issues”.

The rapper made the revelation that he would have voted for Trump if he had cast a vote, at a concert in San Jose, California.

The star has now met with Trump, and sent a number of tweets highlighting what the pair discussed, and hinted that he still plans to run for the US Presidency.

He wrote: “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,” adding, “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.”

“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change,” he added.

In a later tweet, the rapper also alluded to his own presidential aspirations, simply writing “#2024”.

The tweets are the first time West has taken to social media since he was hospitalised for sleep deprivation and exhaustion last month.

West was booed as he announced that he would have voted for the President-elect if he had voted.

Adding that he is “glad Trump inspired racists to reveal themselves”, and that he may still run for President in 2020.

This came as a surprise to many after West back in 2005 declared on live TV that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”, during a telethon for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Trump apparently reciprocates, as he previously said: “I’ll never say bad about him because he loves Trump… He goes around saying Trump is my all-time hero. He says it to everybody. So Kanye West, I love him.”

Twitter reacted hilariously to West this year, denying that he enjoys ‘butt play.’

A mural of West kissing himself was destroyed in Australia – after the creator allegedly received a $100,000 donation from a mysterious benefactor he claimed was the rapper.
