You won’t believe what this woman’s airline food looks like
A woman got something of a surprise when she uncovered her food aboard a flight last week.
The woman – who wants to remain anonymous – opened up her meal aboard the Qantas flight in Australia to reveal six dumpling and something, er, odd looking.
When she asked the air steward for details he informed her it was a vegetable.
Just a vegetable. Of course.
Her Facebook post about the mouthful soon got more than 50 comments from her friends guessing at what it could be.
It really brings a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘food porn’, eh?
She told news.au: “I asked the server what it was … and he told me that it was a root vegetable,” she explained.
“I asked him to pass me my phone so I could take a photo … I never take photos of food but this was too funny to pass up.
“He blushed and was very apologetic, I don’t think he had ever seen anything quite like it … the lady next to me was cracking up.”
It’s not the first time food has looked unexpectedly phallic.
There was this rather unsubtle chicken finger.
And this load of Starbucks whipped cream that chose an interesting shape.
And this pretzl you might not want to choke on.
