Boy George mocks bisexuals and implies George Michael ‘suicide’ Tweets were real
Boy George is in a new Twitter row after seeming to mock bisexuals and imply that the George Michael suicide Tweets weren’t really hackers.
George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz claimed this week that messages posted from his Twitter account suggesting his partner’s death was a suicide were the result of “hackers”.
Referring to the comments, Boy George posted: “Ok. ‘My computer got hacked’ is like ‘I’m bisexual’ or ‘I’m sniffing because I have allergies!”
Some reacted negatively to the post.
One wrote: “as a long time bisexual fan I’m kind of hurt that you’d reduce my valid sexuality to a lie or joke.”
But in a furious tweet-stream the singer hit back: “Bi-phobic? Yeah, of course. Suck my bigot toe! Lot’s [sic] of people use ‘bisexual’ when they really mean ‘gay’.”
He added: “I love a bisexual. I ride a bicycle!”
After being approached for comment, he appears to have blocked PinkNews, later tweeting: “@PinkNews FOLLOWS YOU I had to block these people!”
The comment comes after George Michael’s partner, Fadi Fawaz claimed his Twitter had been hacked.
The account posted a series of Tweets claiming the Last Christmas singer had in fact taken his own life.
The account was then deleted and he claimed it had been hacked.
The posts read: “Not sure who that nasty close friend of George (sic) but I was in a relationship with George Michael till I found him dead in bed
“The only thing George wanted is to DIE. He tried numbers of times to kill himself many times and finally he managed.
“We loved each other very much and were together almost 24 hours a day.”
Talking to the Mirror, Fawaz said he was “shocked” by the tweets, that he believes came from hackers.
“I am shocked with what’s going on with the Twitter thing. My Twitter account has been hacked and closed.
“It’s a bit scary to be honest. I did not send those tweets. I woke up at 11.30am to the news. I am not going to worry about these things,” he added.
The tweets were posted to the same account Fawaz used to reveal he had found the ex-Wham singer dead in their bed.
On Boxing Day, a tweet on the account read: “Its a Xmas I will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning..I will never stop missing you.”
