You can literally wipe your ass with North Carolina’s anti-LGBT law HB2, thanks to a creative campaign.

North Carolina has lost a string of big investment ventures over Republican Pat McCrory’s decision to sign the contentious HB2 – which voided all local ordinances protecting LGBT rights, banned transgender people from using their preferred bathroom, and permits businesses to discriminate against LGBT people on the grounds of religious belief.

An attempt to broker a compromise to repeal the law fell through last month, after state Republicans violated an agreement with the Democrats.

North Carolina ad agency McKinney is one of the hundreds of local businesses who have come out against the law – and they’re showing their disapproval in a unique way.

Since the law is so concerned with what you do in the bathroom, it can now get a front-row seat, after McKinney commissioned a line of toilet rolls featuring the entire text of the law.

The agency explained: “We did this in support of Equality NC’s and Human Rights Campaign’s efforts to encourage North Carolina residents to petition their legislators at StopHB2.org.

“Because we have men’s, women’s and everyone multi-stall bathrooms, and we don’t care which one(s) you feel most comfortable using.

“Because we value equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights.

“Because our CEO, Brad Brinegar, spoke out against the bill on CNN and was integral to the letter that 103 national CEOs signed calling for its repeal.

“Because, you know, it’s called the ‘bathroom bill’, so the whole toilet paper thing was a no-brainer.”
