Shoe designer Kristin Cavallari slammed for comparing husband to ‘300 pound lesbian’
Shoe designer and former reality star Kristin Cavallari has been criticised for joking that her husband Jay Cutler looks like a “300lb lesbian”.
Cavallari had posted a photo of Cutler, a quarterback for the Chicago Bears, which some critics leapt on because of the way his body looked.

So seemingly to dispel those criticisms, Cavallari then posted another photo which compared him to a “300lb lesbian”.
She wrote: “Since Jay looked like a 300lb lesbian in my last post, I felt I should do him justice by posting him looking hot AF in this one.”

Many took to social media to criticise the post, saying it was insensitive to the LGBT community, in particular lesbians.
One wrote: “As someone who has the ability to influence a lot of minds, the ‘300lb lesbian’ comment is disrespectful to the LGBTQ community. Please think twice about what you are saying and what’s actually being said.”
“Your comment, not in good taste. I will never understand why people in the public eye don’t stop to consider what they are saying and how it might be hurtful before they publish it for thousands of people to see,” another added.
Cutler and Cavallari have three children.
She has in the past been criticised for taking an anti-vaccination stance.
