‘Don’t trust SCOTUS nominee, his church is rabidly pro-gay’, claims far right radio host
Bryan Fischer, the far right radio host and American Family Association columnist, has claimed Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch shouldn’t be trusted because his church is “pro-gay”.
The homophobe, in a tweet yesterday, accused Mr Gorsuch of attending a church that was progressive and therefore shouldn’t be trusted.
He said: “Be advised: Gorsuch attends a church that is rabidly pro-gay, pro-Muslim, pro-green and anti-Trump.”
AFA President Tim Wildmon has already praised Trump’s pick.
Commenting on the tweet, another user, Jeff Allen, claimed it was “very concerning” he attended such a church as it was likely to have “a negative impact on him”.
Others said they would pressure their Senators to filibuster or stop the appointment.
St John’s Episcopal Church in Colorado is seen as a liberal church, as is the episcopal movement in the US that has blessed same-sex marriages and ordained LGBT clergy.
Fischer has proven even too much for other notable homophobes, including Ted Cruz, who avoided a rally with him during the Republican primaries.
He has previously blamed gay people for the holocaust and blamed Texas floods on homosexuals.
In the past, he also questioned why if necrophiliacs are discriminated against, why aren’t LGBT people?
