Christian radio host says homosexuals are ‘literally’ Nazi stormtroopers
Christian radio host Bryan Fischer is comparing gays to Nazis again – as questions grow about his organisation’s ties to top Republicans.
The right-wing American Family Association, which runs American Family Radio, pretended to demote radio host Bryan Fischer in 2015 for comparing gays to Nazis after senior Republican lawmakers faced questions over financial ties to the AFA.
In fact, while he was stripped of a title, Mr Fischer was never actually dismissed from his American Family Radio show and is still employed by the AFA.
On his American Family Radio show this week, Fischer proved he was very much unreformed, yet again branding gay people Nazis.
In a clip re-uploaded by Right Wing Watch he says: “Homosexual supremacy is the doctrine that homosexual rights trump every other right in the world.
“They trump every right that heterosexuals have, they trump every right that citizens have not to be pushed around by the activists and the LGBT agenda.
“You know, Meryl Streep is out there saying she is going to stand up to the Brownshirts in our culture, referring to Donald Trump
“The real Brownshirts are in the homosexual movement. In fact, the Brownshirts under Hitler literally were homosexuals. You couldn’t become an officer without being a homosexual.
“The gay Gestapo have the same kind of tactics, the same kind of worldview, the same kind of mentality [as Nazis].”
Despite funding a free trip to Israel for Congressional Republicans, the American Family Association is listed as an active anti-gay hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Centre.
Senator Ted Cruz previously visited the group’s HQ, and other Republicans including Mike Huckabee have appeared on AFA platforms.
Fischer previously claimed that discrimination against gay people isn’t a problem, because we also discriminate against necrophiliacs.
Commenting on the Boy Scouts of America’s decision to allow gay youth members, Fischer said that the organisation should be renamed the “Boy Sodomisers of America”.
