The NFL just quietly released a super-cute inclusive ad featuring two same-sex kisses
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the NFL gave hope that things might be changing with this super cute ad.
The ad was released on Tuesday, just in time for Valentine’s.
Entitled ‘Love Has No Labels’, it features two same-sex couples on the kiss-cam, as well as promoting friendships between people of different races, religions and genders.
“Kiss Cams have been a part of sports culture for years,” reads the beginning of the ad.
“At the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando, they became a part of something bigger,” it adds.
One of the women in a lesbian couple featured kissing, wears an ‘Orlando Survivor’ t-shirt, which refers to the attack on the Pulse nightclub in the city last year which left 49 dead.
“Love has no religion, love has no age, love has no gender, love has no disability, love has no race,”the ad continues, ending with: “Love has no labels…rethink bias at lovehasnolabels.org”.
Eric Jannon, the executive director of the R/GA ad agency told the Wall Street Journal on Monday: “We’ll keep embracing diversity regardless of what’s going on in the White House.”
While the ad is technically attributed to the Pro Bowl, it was shared on the NFL’s Twitter with the message: “See how Love Has No Labels came to life at the 2017 Pro Bowl.”
