Katie Hopkins and Caroline Lucas break into row about ‘vegan lesbians’
Katie Hopkins has got into a Twitter spat with Caroline Lucas over “vegan lesbians”.
She made the comments in a row about yesterday’s Donald Trump protest in London.
Writing for the Daily Mail of the Westminster protest against a state visit for the US president, she wrote: “Happily, Caroline Lucas was on hand to speak for Vegan Matters and the lesbians of Brighton.”
She then took to Twitter with her opinions, where the pair got into a row.
Hopkins wrote that “Caroline Lucas spoke for vegan lesbians of Brighton hoping to deny Trump a state visit because he likes burgers” with a link to her column.
Lucas, the Green Party co-leader and MP for Brighton, hit back – saying she was proud to stand up for minorities.
Not that Hopkins, who claimed the LGBT community “bullied” Jennifer Holliday out of performing at Trump’s inauguration, backed down.
And then Caroline Lucas totally nailed it.
That’s despite almost two million signing an official petition for him to be stopped, following the ‘Muslim ban’ immigration crackdown.
