Donald Trump has a gender neutral bathroom in his home, PinkNews can probably reveal.
The news comes as the president seeks to turn the clock back on the rights of transgender people to use the bathroom appropriate to their identity.
Trump’s Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has claimed that letting trans people use the bathroom they want to had been a “very huge” example of “overreach” under Obama.
However a PinkNews investigation has discovered that almost everybody has a gender neutral toilet in their home, typically known as “the toilet”, “the restroom” or “the bathroom”.
Numerous videos online show off the president’s gold-plated Trump Tower apartment, which he claims to be on the 66th-68th floors of the building, despite it only actually having 58 floors.
This week the Trump administration confirmed it had reversed a policy put in place by the Obama administration that extended civil rights laws to cover transgender people.
Obama officials had extended the interpretation of Title IX civil rights provisions, which have outlawed discrimination based on sex since 1972, to also protect gender identity.

DeVos agreed to implement Trump’s anti-trans policy demand this week despite claiming in her confirmation hearing that she would continue existing protections.
In a new video the out Republican voter said the president needs to call her, as he had promised to protect LGBTQ rights.
Teenage reality star Jackie Evancho, who flouted a celebrity boycott to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration, has been told she’s “welcome” to a meeting with the President after she complained that he targeted her trans sister’s rights.
Asked whether she would protect LGBT students during her confirmation hearing, DeVos said: “Every student deserves to attend school in a safe, supportive environment where they can learn, achieve and thrive and are not discriminated against. Period.”
It’s not the first time DeVos has faced accusations of misleading the Senate during her confirmation.
The Trump official also faced accusations of lying during her confirmation hearing after claiming her affiliation with a charitable trust that funded anti-gay activism was a “clerical error”.
After she made the claim, The Intercept alleged she “lied to the Senate”, revealing that tax filings show she was a vice president of the controversial foundation for 13 years, dating from 2001 to 2013.
