Here’s the complete list of films that won, lost, and were told they won at the Oscars
The 89th Oscars took place in Hollywood last night – and it wasn’t short of drama.
Just like that time Miss Universe announced the complete wrong winner in 2015, the Oscars manage to mess up arguably the biggest prize of the night, Best picture.
They initially gave it to La La Land, the musical romance.
However half way through they realised they’d made a mistake, and it was actually Moonlight, which became the first LGBT film to win the best movie prize.
The Oscars was thrown into confusion by the mistake, meanwhile the internet, always here to help, knew exactly what to do.
La La Land was still the biggest winner of the night, going home with six Oscars.
Just not that one.
