Brother and sister fight over hunky pool boy in brilliant Coca-Cola ad
Coca-Cola has released a new ad, and it’s totally brilliant.
The soft drinks chain have put a very special gay twist on the advert.
The ad sees a woman looking lustfully out to a very handsome man cleaning her pool, which seems conventional enough.
Then the camera pans to reveal she has competition for him – her brother is also looking lustful.
The pair fight to hand the glass of Coca-Cola over to him.
The siblings get something of a surprise when they finally get to the pool.
Spokeswoman Kate Hartman told Huff Post that the advert was simply intended as a “human story where Coca-Cola plays a key role in the development of the drama.”
“The story also includes a wink that touches on our point of view regarding diversity and inclusion,” she said. “We are managing culturally relevant messages organically within our spots, not as the main subject of the story, but as subtext.”
It’s not the first brilliant LGBT-themed ad recently, though it may be one of the best.
This ad encouraged gay couples to hold hands outside.
Meanwhile Kellog’s even got in on the action with this Corn Flakes commercial.
