“The truth is out”: George Michael’s boyfriend lashes out as cause of death confirmed
The late George Michaelās boyfriend has posted an emotional update after the starās cause of death was confirmed.
Tests determined that George Michael died from ānatural causesā yesterday.
Fawaz slammed the ācruelā experience since Michaelās death, Christmas Day, in a series of emotional Tweets
He posted āF*** YOUā on hearing the news of the coronerās report.
Adding: āAll the nasty comments, press and 999 were very cruel and unnecessary whatsoever, Now I hope to receive some real LOVE xā
He then posted a black and white photo of the couple together.
The 52-year-old singerās death remained unexplained for months after a post-mortem examination was inconclusive.
According to a coroner, his death was caused by dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver.
The coroner said: āInquires into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post-mortem report received.
āAs there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further enquiries.
āNo further updates will be provided and the family requests the media and public respect their privacy.ā
The news comes counter to weeks of tabloid reports that have inferred that the singerās drug use was to blame.
Since his death, dozens of people have opened up about the singerās extraordinary generosity and anonymous philanthropy, donating millions to good causes without revealing his identity.
Funeral plans for the star are expected to be announced soon.
Itās been reported that Fadi Fawaz is banned from the funeral, however.
The Wham! starās cousin, Andros Georgiou, claims that his boyfriend, will not be allowed to attend because the Michael family āhate himā.
Georgiou blasted the late singerās boyfriend, saying: āFadi has not been invited to the funeral.
āHe is not welcome, the family hate him. Heaven help him if he turned up.
āFadi was not really his boyfriend. No one has spoken to him and he just seems to be getting on with his life. It makes my stomach turn.ā
But now Fawaz has hit back at the claims, insisting he will be at the funeral.
He wrote on Twitter: āThat someone who is saying all this rubbish about the funeral has not been part of Georgeās life for 19 years.
āCan we cut the crap now for once and for all.
āLetās have some respect for George (the poor man). Georgeās family are very loving respectful and decent people, there is nothing more to say.ā
Cindi Berger, Michaelās publicist, said previously: āIt is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.
āThe family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.ā
Adele paId a moving tribute to the singer with a performance at the Grammys recently.
