Police search for man in relation to ‘homophobic and racist’ incident in London
Police are hoping to speak with a man in connection with a “homophobic and racist incident” on board the London underground.
According to the British Transport Police, the incident took place on 10 March.
An elderly man was pushed off a train, between Pimlico and Green Park say authorities.
And when other members of the public tried to intervene, the man became aggressive and used homophobic and racist language.
A police report states that a 33-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman had challenged the man and were abused because of it.
According to the police report, the incident took place around 1.30pm on Friday 10 March on the Victoria line.
Police put out a CCTV image, and say they wish to speak with the man in connection with the incident.
Police ask that those with information call 0800 40 50 40 or text information to 61016, quoting reference number 194 11/03/17.
Also in London last week, police were seeking a group of men in connection with a brutal homophobic attack on a London train.
