Pranksters blasted lesbian porn at a Dutch electoral vote count
A polling station in the Netherlands has been targeted by pranksters who screen lesbian porn during a vote count.
Volunteers who were counting votes following the Dutch election were shocked when the x-rated clip was projected onto a screen with the volume turned to the maximum.
Those who organised the count believe that the prank was pulled by a local football club who set up the projector in the hall with the intention of giving the counters a laugh.
The screen was originally set up to play coverage of the election night.
A spokesperson for the local mayor’s office confirmed that the image that caught the moment was not a Photoshop, but condemned the prank.
The spokesperson said to the Sun: “This was no Photoshop. Of course this does not deserve any praise and should never have happened.”
“They have sworn to us it will never happen again”.
The photographer who took the image that captured the moment said that the stunt was intended to be “locker room humour” and that it was “only a snapshot, just a joke, nothing more, nothing less.”
Officials have insisted that the incident, which took place in the city of Enschede in the Eastern part of the country, did nor compromise the vote count.
It is unknown if the pranksters have been identified or reprimanded for the joke.
Hans Scholten, president of the local football club, said: “I did not talk yet about that with the board, it will happen tonight.”
“Even though it is a joke, the consequence for the city and the club were not thought through,” he explained. “We have a well-regarded name as club and this is important for members and parents.”
