Damien Hirst has painted George Michael to raise money for HIV AIDS
Acclaimed artist Damien Hirst has made a painting of George Michael.
The new painting is intended to raise money for HIV AIDS.
The painting, named Beautiful Beautiful George Michael Love Painting, is a canvass art made from household glass.
The painting will be sold at a charity gala held by MTV Re:Define.
The event, due to be held in Texas on Friday night, will be co-chaired by the foundation George Michael created with his ex, Kenny Goss, the Goss-Michael Foundation.
Boss Georgia Arnold told The Sun: “This year is poignant as we celebrate George. We’ve been honoured by his and Kenny’s support.
“We look forward to continuing to raise awareness and support for our mission, and especially thank all the artists for their involvement and generosity.”

More details of George Michael’s burial have been shared since his death on Christmas Day.
His burial plot, in Highgate Cemetry, north London, is to be next to his late mother.
Michael’s beloved mum, Lesley, died exactly 20 years ago in 1997.
The star had always intended to be buried next to her, buying the burial plot ready for when the occasion came around.
A source told the Mirror: “Lesley was George’s world so it is fitting that they should now be together.”
They added: “George would always make a big deal out of Mother’s Day.
“He loved her so much and he would spend a lot of time talking to her there.
“The cemetery has a very special place in his heart.”
The plot was cleared of flowers and leaves over the weekend ready for his burial next to his mum.
24-hour security now surrounds the plot in a bid to protect it from vandals or over zealous fans.
According to the Daily Star, the cemetery has “ramped up security” as George’s family “fear ghouls could ruin the funeral”.
Now his £105m fortune is now set to be split up between loved ones and charities.
His hairdresser sister, Melanie Panayiotou, is set to inherit his £10m mansion in north London.
The 55-year-old has already been seen living in the house according to reports in MailOnline.
Meanwhile the singer’s other older sister, Yioda Panayiotou, 57, is also reported to be receiving a large chunk of his estimated £105million fortune.
A number of charities and causes that were close to the legendary performer’s heart are expected to be recognised in the will, too.
Since his death, dozens of people have opened up about the singer’s extraordinary generosity and anonymous philanthropy, donating millions to good causes without revealing his identity.
