A singer has covered the famous Spice Girls hit 2 become 1 and altered the lyrics to send an important message about safe-sex.
20 years since the ballad was released, artist K Anderson has reimagined the song as a love story between two men.
The acoustic cover changes some lyrics to things such as “boys and boys feel good together”.
Anderson also used a condom to create a drum background for the song.
The singer explained that he had always dreamed of being in something like a girl band,.
He said: “I always wanted to be in a girl band, and there is no finer than the Spice Girls!”
Anderson added that he thought it would be fun to do the cover, but also wanted to use it a s an important message.
“Since one of the song’s messages is about the importance of safe sex, I thought it could be fun to use condoms as my percussion in the track. And the weren’t getting much use in my bedside drawer anyway.”
