Ruby Tandoh utterly destroyed Piers Morgan, and he may never recover from the burn
Ruby Tandoh has destroyed Piers Morgan – and it was beautiful.
The chef and cookbook writer, who came out in 2015 after starring on the Great British Bake Off, is not afraid of standing up for herself or speaking her mind.
So when a researcher at Good Morning Britain asked if she’d like to come on the show, which Piers Morgan regularly hosts, she was ready.
“I know it’s just your job so no hard feelings, but Piers Morgan is a sentient ham and frankly I’d rather die,” she wrote.
She followed this up with: “not today satan”.
And then, presumably, a mic drop.
The researcher put on a brave face, to be fair.
Earlier this year, Ewan McGregor refused to appear on the show with Morgan after the TV presenter tweeted that he was “planning a ‘Men’s March’ to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists.”
McGregor said on Twitter: “Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn’t realise @piersmorgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch.”
@rubytandoh Ok that's a shame. Piers isn't on tomorrow. And even if he was, sometimes the best debates are with people you disagree with ?

The former Britain’s Got Talent judge then attacked the 45-year-old actor by replying that “a real man would have come on and debated it with me, not run away like a coward”.
In response, Graham Norton told the Radio Times that it was “funny” how Morgan “talks about millennial snowflakes and yet a man didn’t agree to come on his show and he’s been tweeting about it non-stop for 48 hours.
“Really, grow a pair.”
This also isn’t the first example of Tandoh putting someone on blast in the best way.
Just ask Paul Hollywood, the GBBO judge who Tandoh called “a peacocking manchild lingering wherever the money is,” going on to remark on his “terrible fragility”.

Hollywood stayed with the baking show after it moved from the BBC to Channel 4.
And, of course, Morgan has also been wrecked oon Twitter this year by Harry Potter author JK Rowling.
The world-famous writer told Morgan: “If only you’d read Harry Potter, you’d know the downside of sucking up to the biggest bully in school is getting burned alive.”
