RuPaul’s Drag Race renewed for a tenth season
As the drama continues to unfold on season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the show has already been officially renewed for another season.
Season 9 has been record breaking for Drag Race, and featured Lady Gaga, the show will return to VH1 for at least one more season.
“As we celebrate a Decade of Drag, we’ll continue to tell universal stories of the tenacity of the human spirit,” RuPaul said in a statement.
“Now more than ever, we rely on the power of love, laughter and creativity to combat fear and darkness.”
“It’s been amazing to see the show get its highest season ever on a whole new night on a whole new network,” added Chris McCarthy, President of VH1, MTV and Logo.
“We brought in a whole new set of audience that is loving the show.”

The show got its biggest ever ratings as it returned for season nine, partly due to Lady Gaga making an appearance.
The show’s host RuPaul recently hit out at female bachelorette parties who head to gay clubs for their festivities.
He also received homophobic abuse after revealing he is married to his partner of more than two decades.
