George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz to share never before seen pictures of the Wham! star
The boyfriend of late singing legend George Michael is set to share never before seen photos of the star.
Fadi Fawaz, who was in a relationship with the singer at his time of death, want to do an exhibition of the images.
The fine art photographer is keen to display his works, including many photos of his former partner, The Sun reports.
A source said: “Fadi has been very emotional in the months after George’s passing, but is now keen to do something positive and thinks an exhibition is something he would have approved of.
“George was a huge art fan, and did a lot of work to promote artists’ work through his charity the Goss-Michael Foundation, as well as supporting Fadi with his projects.”
A date hasn’t been set for the exhibition, with details yet to be known.
A concert at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall has been proposed as a way to remember Michael’s full back catalogue.
Dame Esther Rantzen, a friend of the late star and founder of charity ChildLine, is aiming to arrange the event for this year.
However, family members are reportedly unhappy with the plans.
A source told the Daily Mirror that “make or break” talks are to be held this week in an attempt to broker a deal between event organisers, family members and record company bosses.
“The most important thing about organising this is that the family approve of everything,” the source said.
“Esther and the organisers didn’t want to jump the gun and start making arrangements before they had spoken with them.
“At the moment there is a big possibility it won’t happen because the family aren’t on board.
“The meeting will either make or break plans.”
Mr Fawaz may be enough entertainment on his own, judging by a recent Twitter post.
He recently surprised his followers when he posted a fully naked photo online.
In the image, Fawaz can be seen posing completely naked, with his bum exposed to the lens.
It’s not believed the explicit image was an accident, however.
Making sure his fans didn’t miss the x-rated update, he wrote: “I forgot to mention the cover picture is a self-portrait of myself by me.”
