Liam Gallagher has opened up about his kid’s sexuality
Liam Gallagher has opened up about talking to his children about their sexuality.
The former Oasis frontman told the Guardian that he tries to keep communication open with his children.
“I speak to my kids on a daily basis,” the musician explained.
“I’m not one of those uptight fathers – everything is open round our way.
“We can talk about anything. Girls, boys, whatever. I’m like ‘Is there anything you want to tell me? Anything to do with your sexuality?
“You know, I don’t give a fuck about that, you are what you are. There’s nothing that’s out of bounds,” the Beady Eye singer said.
Gallagher has been known for tweeting homophobic messages in the past.
Following the Orlando attack, he wrote: “Russian hooligans skintight shorts bumbags batty boy muscles ha ha I’d be more worried bout getting me arse pinched LG.”
He made the comments after reports of trouble at Euro 2016.
Twitter users lashed out at him branding him a “homophobe” and “fool”.
One person wrote: “Using the term batty boy is tactful considering #Orlando but I guess being famous gives you a free pass.”
Another added: “Because homophobia is super amusing, right?”
“Hi Liam, 49 people were killed in a gay club last weekend, so if you *have* to use outdated slurs can u wait a bit?” someone else said.
The singer apologised for the tactless comments.
He writes: “If I’ve upset anybody with my tweets I apologise that includes you RKID as you were LG x (sic),”
“RKID” refers to his brother Noel Gallagher, with who he has feuded for years.
