Earlier this week the LGBT community were rewarded with an unlikely gay icon, the Babadook.

The horrifying murderous fiction monster became a much loved LGBT meme overnight after a Netflix mixup.

The streaming service accidentally categorised the 2014 psychological horror as an LGBT film.

The mistake was pointed out on Tumblr, where one user wrote that they were ā€œproudā€ that Netflix has ā€œrecognised the Babadook as gay representationā€.

Babadook had everyone, understandably, babashook.

The monster was taken into the communityā€™s hearts and given an image turnaround from killer to a queen.

So much so that one drag queen, Miles Jai, decided to take the newly found idolisation of Babadook to the next level.

Jai decided to dress as the Babadook in attendance to the season nine finale of RuPaulā€™s Drag Race.

Pictures of the drag queen appeared on Twitter this weekend and in turn, Miles has become a whole new idol.

ā€œThatā€™s an amazing babaLOOK,ā€ one person wrote.

Another said: ā€œCanā€™t get over how well done this is, always killing it, Miles!!ā€

ā€œThis is such a fucking slay, I still canā€™t deal. WHAT DID YOU DO? Hunny, YEW DID THAT,ā€ someone else added.

Basically, everyone cannot get enough of the look created by Miles Jai, with some people even calling her the ā€œreal winner of season 9ā€.

Jai posted a hilarious video on Twitter on the night that she was out as Babadook.

She said that she felt ā€œreally attacked ā€because of all the ā€œweight that comes with being an LGBT iconā€ and that she wasnā€™t sure if she was ā€œready for thisā€.
