Kate Moss set to reveal all in new George Michael documentary
Supermodel Kate Moss has been spotted filming inside the late George Michael’s London home.
Moss, who rarely speaks publicly, is making a new documentary for Channel 4 about the late Wham! star.
Michael died on Christmas Day last year, aged 53, leaving behind his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz.
Now a new documentary by his close friend is set to reveal the truth about his life.
Filming is said to have begun for the documentary before the star died, for what was meant to be a comeback show.
However since his death, record label Sony has agreed to the documentary continuing and being updated as a memorial show.
It will be the first time fans have been able to see behind closed doors at his multi-million pound Highgate home.
The show is set to give an insight into how the notoriously private star lived towards the end of his life.
Moss has been spotted this week with a film crew around the late performer’s north London home, which neighbours her own.
The 43-year-old supermodel was joined by the music legend’s friend and documentary creator David Austin on the shoot.
A source told MailOnline: “In the afternoon, Kate went in first and David Austin turned up.
“A couple of tracks came by the house and two men downloaded equipment.
“Then they all walked into Kate’s home which is a few yards away from George’s.”
The new documentary is thought to be named Freedom: The George Michael Story – the name the star himself gave the show before his death.
According to The Sun: “Kate was filming at the house on Monday and the documentary will also feature other major stars who were close to George.
“She slipped into the house through the back door with the crew to avoid causing a scene as there are still fans who go there to pay tribute.
“Everything was kept very hushed.”
The supermodel and singer had been close friends and neighbours.
The source continued: “Kate hardly ever does interviews, especially not on camera, but this is something she’s really passionate about.
“It’s being made by his best friend David Austin. It will be an incredible tribute to George’s life.”
According to reports, the documentary, titled Freedom, will air later this year on Channel 4 in the UK.
George Michael’s ex-boyfriend Kenny Goss recently opened up about the singer’s funeral.
His burial plot is next to his beloved mum, Lesley, who died 20 years ago in 1997.
