Bisexual threesome turns deadly in bloody ‘revenge’ killing
A bisexual threesome turned deadly yesterday after one of the men was beaten with baseball bats and stabbed three times.
Manos Ikonomidis, 20, was killed by a gang of three men after having sex with Jack Doherty, 21, and an unidentified woman, in Brooklyn on Monday.
Doherty was reportedly being questioned by police, but was not a suspect.
Police sources said the woman ā who has not been identified ā became irate after one of the men started filming the threesome.
She was driven home by Doherty. On the way, a resident in the building told the New York Daily News that she contacted her boyfriend ā who wasnāt in the threesome ā and told him sheād been raped.
Police sources said no evidence was found which suggested the sexual encounter was anything but consensual.
Ikonomidisās girlfriend, who was also not involved in the threesome, then reportedly received an ominous Instagram message reading: āyour boyfriend f***ed up and will be taken care ofā.
As Doherty got back to the building in which the threesome took place, three other men also arrived, with Ikonomidis still alone in the room.
The victim tried to escape the building, but security cameras show two white men and a black man chasing him with baseball bats. They stabbed him three times and left him to bleed out.
In his final moments, Ikonomidis left bloody handprints on the door of Joy Liguoriās flat as he desperately tried to get the residentās attention.
āI saw the blood,ā said Liguori. āThatās when I told him: āGod, honey, youāre bleeding.ā
āHe goes: āThey stabbed me! They stabbed me twice! They stabbed me!āā she added.
A relative of Liguoriās, Lynne Moeser, said Ikonomidis had been āgushingā blood.
āHe says: āThey hit me in the head, they hit my head with a bat,āā Moeser recalled.
Ikonomidis apparently told Liguori, 74, not to call the police, but she ignored his request.
Unfortunately it was too late, and Ikonomidis died at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn at 4:33am.
Among the last words he said to Liguori were: āIām so sorry.ā
A blood-stained rug and an aluminum baseball bat labeled āMagnumā were all that was left at scene, with the bat taken into evidence by the police.
No suspects were in custody, reports indicated.
Liguori said she had painful regrets.
āI didnāt do enough, I didnāt save him,ā she said.
āI feel so guilty. I donāt know why. I did try. Heās a baby.ā
Ikonomidisā girlfriend arrived at the scene hours after her boyfriend had died.
According to reports, she cried: āOh, my God, no! My baby, it canāt be f***ing real!
ā(Why) didnāt you go home? Why didnāt you listen to me? ā¦ He better go to fāing jail! (Will) you guys get him please? ā¦ My baby, my baby, I love you so much,ā she added.
Neighbours of Ikonomidis said he was courteous and had wanted to pursue a career in music.
āIām in total shock. He was such a nice boy,ā downstairs neighbour Maria Brancaleone, 54, told the New York Daily News.
āBeautiful boy ā always tried to help you out when you needed it.ā
