‘Gotham’ star Donal Logue pens emotional plea for information on missing trans daughter
Actor Donal Logue who is best known for his role in “Gotham” has penned an emotional plea for information on the whereabouts of his trans daughter who went missing last week in New York.
16-year-old Jade Logue went missing on Monday 26 June.
Logue posted on Twitter appealing for information after she did not return home after being out with a friend in the Brooklyn area.
“Missing – yesterday at 2 PM Barclays Center/Fort Greene Brooklyn: my child, Jade Logue. 6’2″ 180 lime green hoodie dark green military parka,” Logue wrote in a tweet that he later deleted.
Logue also thanked other big stars, including Mark Ruffalo and Olivia Wilde, for appealing for information about Jade’s whereabouts.
However, the thankful tweets have also been deleted.
The star has since relaunched a fresh plea for information on his daughter’s whereabouts and revealed that the NYPD and FBI are investigating.
“Whoever knows where she is, whoever may be with her — clearly this thing has become big and crazy.
“The point is, you may have had good intentions to help her, but I’m sure you realise that this situation is bigger than you could’ve anticipated.”
“Jade. we miss you and love you. please come home. If you can see this, just know I love and miss you dearly,” he wrote.
In a Facebook post he added that that he loves all people but “there’s never been a more loving, innocent, cuddly child than Jade”.
“I love her and who she is and her tribe is strong (I’ve met many wonderful people through Jade), but there are some predators who swim among their ranks knowing they’re dealing with sweet, trusting souls.
“I have dog teams from the NYPD, FBI, and others involved. The point is, you may have had good intentions to help her, but I’m sure you realise that this situation is bigger than you could’ve anticipated. It’s okay.
Just drop her off. Let her get back in touch with her mother, Kasey, or me — we’ll take her back, with hugs and no questions asked.
