There’s now a perfect word to describe those idiots who want a Heterosexual Pride Day

LGBT Pride Month has just come to an end in the US, but Pride events are continuing around the world.
Pride in London takes place on the streets of the capital this Saturday to cap off a fortnight of 2017 LGBT programming under the Love Happens Here banner.
LGBT Pride is all about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people asserting LGBT identity, equality rights, dignity and the right to live free from persecution.

Pride originated in the US following the Stonewall riots after a police raid at the gay bar in New York City in 1969. It followed the growing LGBT movements for recognition, equal rights and Pride as the community hit back against the regressive legal and social atmosphere of the 1950s and 1960s.
Christopher Street Liberation Day took place on June 28, 1970, marking the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots with an assembly on Christopher Street and the first Gay Pride march in US history.
The movement has grown and grown in the years and decades since, with everywhere from Madrid to East Timor now hosting LGBT Pride marches, parades and events.
Every step on an LGBT Pride march is a step in the right direction. But not everyone is a fan.
Yep, just like the “When is International MEN’S Day?” crew (November 19, if you really want to know), we can’t seem to have a Pride season without some straight people – often straight white men – asking “so why isn’t there a HETEROSEXUAL Pride Day?”.
The socially conservative backlash to the LGBT Pride movement is utterly nonsensical.
LGBT Pride grew in response to the attacks on the LGBT community. Pride is about self-affirmation in a mainly straight world.
So what do you call a straight person whinnying on about “why isn’t there a heterosexual pride day?”.
A broflake.
Urban Dictionary defines Broflake
Amazing
As defined by the sometimes-reliable Urban Dictionary, a Broflake is a “straight white male offended by any feminist or ethnic activity which is not directly designed for him”.
The example given sums it up.
Kyle: “How come there’s no Straight Pride parade”?
Me: “OMG you’re such a delicate little broflake.”
As an inversion of the tired and tedious alt-right “snowflake” insult, it’s perfect.
So Minecraft founder and billionaire Markus ‘Notch’ Persson – who is on the record as a sweary supporter of #HeterosexualPrideDay?
Total broflake.
