BBC weather presenter gives entire forecast in drag references for International Drag Day
A BBC weather presenter has gone viral for his epic drag themed weather report.
Host Owain Wyn Evans decided to embrace International Drag Day – with a challenge to get as many drag culture references in one report as possible.
The Welsh weather host manages to get in references to everything from RuPaul through to Conchita Wurst during the 90-second clip.
Speaking of incoming rain, the BBC host declares: “I hope you didn’t get Courtney Act in any downpours.
“So that weather front has indeed sashayed away.”
He adds: “That sunshine Charlie Hides behind all of these clouds for a time.”
He also explains that weather fronts will be rising like a phoenix, referring to the hit Eurovision song by Austrian Conchita Wurst.

Finishing the clip, Evans whips out a fan as he declares it’s going to get breezey.
The clip has now been liked more than four thousand times on Twitter.

Reacting to the post, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Charlie Hides wrote: “Howling! Just woke up here in Melbourne and nearly spit out my coffee. :)”
