Gay dad dating simulator proves to be a surprise hit
A new simulator game which lets you date hot dads as a hot dad has proven to be a surprise hit after its release.
Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator is a gay in which your primary goal is to meet and romance other hot dads in a small neighbourhood.
It has topped the selling platform Steam shortly after being released.
The premise of the game is that you are a dad who has just moved to Maple Bay with your daughter.
You get to build yourself as a hot dad and give them a “dadsona”, and then must navigate the dating scene of Maple Bay.
The game was announced last month and is created by the same people who created Game Grumps.
The game’s creators say it is intended to cater to an LGBT audience which may not have seen itself represented in other titles.
But it has also proven popular with a wider audience.
It features seven potential datable dads all with a number of endings to the game.
Of course, the game features bad dad puns from the very start.
The game, despite not yet being released, has garnered itself a popular fan base on Twitter already.
Some people have created fan arts of the seven dads that you can strive after in the game.
Other people have become fans of your daughter in the game, Amanda.
One fan said that they were excited to play the game because it differed from other gay dating simulators.
They said that on other simulators they had experienced abuse but ‘Dream Daddy’ looked like it would promote “consulting adults trying to have a healthy relationship and raise their kids”.
The game was available from July 13 on Steam.
