Kristen Stewart and girlfriend Stella Maxwell crash lesbian wedding

Two brides got a surprise this weekend when their wedding party was crashed by actress Kristen Stewart and her model girlfriend Stella Maxwell.

Kirsten and Kayleigh Jennings got married on Saturday in Kirsten’s parents’ backyard in Winnipeg, Canada, before heading to a local restaurant for the reception.

But at about 10pm, the restaurant owner came over to Kirsten with a strange request.

“He said: ‘Hey, is it OK if Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend Stella come and have a few drinks with you guys?’”

Kirsten’s reply? “Yeah, no problem. Um, who is that?”

Her lack of Twilight knowledge didn’t matter though, as the two celebs fit right in with the guests and stayed to drink and dance until the early hours of the morning.

“They looked just like two normal girls. They look a little Hollywood, but if we didn’t know who they were, I don’t know if I would have known,” said Kirsten.

“We said: ‘Hey, you know. Come on and meet your guests and, you know, don’t segregate yourselves. Come and party.”

“They kind of blended in seamlessly,” she said. “It was a really, really, really fun night.”

The wedding DJ said the same, posting on Instagram with the caption: “Dj’ed the MOST fun wedding for these incredible women last night and had an unplanned guest show up to dance with us at the end of the night! Apparently Kristen Stewart loves Beastie boys !”

Kayleigh said she tried to just treat them as normal guests, though they did get a formal introduction.

“We got a chance to shake her hand and shake Stella’s hand,” said Kayleigh. “I actually wasn’t as star-struck as I thought I would be.”

Some of the guests didn’t maintain their cool so well, however.

“There were only a few people who were starstruck,” Kirsten said. “My Aunt Linda was extremely excited.”

And their friend Rob couldn’t help but get a joke in. Dancing with Stewart’s blazer over his head, Kirsten recalled that “he said ‘I loved you in Harry Potter,’ then threw the blazer in her face and walked away.”

Kirsten, from Winnipeg, and Kayleigh, from Oklahoma, have been together for seven years, after meeting while working in the Cayman Islands.

However, they experienced some difficulties when they wanted to get into the US.

“We had a really hard time getting into the States because same-sex marriage wasn’t approved federally until 2013, and this was in 2012. Our lawyer told us to come up to Canada and get degrees,” she said.

Both women graduated in April, and planned their wedding right after.
