This video of old women covering Beyoncé will make your week

The ladies of the Chadstone Bowls Club in Melbourne, Australia have a statement to make, and are doing it through the most powerful words out there – those of Beyoncé.
They decided they had to take action when they found out the City of Stonnington was planning to demolish their beloved Bowls Club to create space for indoor netball and basketball courts.
The women take the words of Beyoncé’s iconic ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)’ and create their own “All the bowling ladies,” to get their message across.

We wanna keep fit
And this is it
Please don’t take it from me.
In the few days since the video was posted, it has gone viral, clocking up tens of thousands of views and being picked up by news sites across the world.
The women are surprised by the reaction, to say the least.
Wyn Hewett, 72, along with friends Terry Foster and Janine Hall, both aged 82, had just hoped they might be able to get the city to reconsider.

But they’re glad the video has been so popular, so people can see how important the bowling club is to them.
“[Chadstone is] a second home for a lot of the elderly people,” Hewett told BBC News.
“Personally, I’ve been a member for seven years since I retired and if somebody is unwell, there are at least 10 people on the phone to see how you are.
“If you demolish the club, you would break up the very tightly-knit community which has become a big family for us.”
Councillor Jami Klisaris, the Mayor of Stonnington has responded to the video, saying that although the netball courts are important, they are taking the community’s opinions into account.
“The council is listening to the community and we want to assure residents that no final decision has been made,” she said.
“The feasibility study is vital to helping the council make a decision that’s in the interests of all Stonnington residents, sporting clubs and sportspeople.”
The women would love to hear that Beyoncé has seen their tribute.
“We now have Beyoncé as our favourite singer, and we’d love for Beyoncé to send us a message that she’d seen it,” Hewett said.
And now that they know how hard the famous ‘Single Ladies’ dance is, they’re all very impressed.
“We think for her do those dance moves in those high heels is amazing.”
