One character won’t be returning to Will and Grace
Showrunners have announced that one beloved character wonāt be coming back to Will and Grace when it returns.
The iconic show, which is credited with helping transform attitudes to gay people in America, is set to return to screens in November.
It has been a decade since Will and Grace stopped airing.
And despite the main cast being reunited and having the time of their lives, one character wonāt be returning.
Shelley Morrison, who played Karen Walkerās maid Rosario has retired, one of the showās creators said last week.
Speaking at a presser, Max Mutchnick said: āShelley has decided to retire,
āIt was with a heavy heart that she gave us that information and that we received it, but it is the way that it goes. It is a choice that she has made.
āWe really wanted Shelley to be a part of this series, so we find ourselves having to figure that out moving forward. It was not an easy decision to make, but itās one that she made.ā
Rosario was known for arguing incessently with Karen, and they both gave as good as they got.

But there was good news earlier this month for fans of the show as NBC bosses commissioned another four brand new episodes.
Thatās in addition to the 13 new episodes already slated for the return season.
Cast members also shared exclusive behind the scenes snaps of the new season.
NBC began filming earlier in August for the November release.
The starās big names will be returning for the new episodes ā including Debra Messing as Grace, Eric McCormack as Will, Sean Hayes as Jack, and Megan Mullally as Karen.
Fans were given a special glimpse into the new season of the NBC show earlier this year.
A page from the script has been āleakedā online after a show boss Tweeted an image from the upcoming series.
Series co-creator Max Mutchnick took to Twitter to share the glimpse into the comeback series.
The Emmy Award-winning producer tweeted a picture from the writerās room showing an episode called āThe Weddingā.

In the script, Jack is arguing with Will over a date.
He also asks for money at the end of his comments ā when Karen enters with a monkey, apparently.
The script reads: āJACK: I see where this going. You ask me to be your date, you drink too much, Iām disgusted, you feel uncomfortable and end up giving me money at the end of the night.
āI guess what Iām saying is, I need to borrow a grand.
āWe can talk about it later when youāre plastered.
āWILL: Jack, you read my mind. I guess Iāll go with Plan B. No date.

It comes after the cast began filming the new season, and seem to be having a great time if a musical clip released is anything to go by.
Megan Mullally posted that she was āback in dragā with her partner-in-crime Sean Hayes dressed as Jack, triggering a flurry of excitement.
