Peep Show star Robert Webb explains ‘gender nonsense’ to his children and it’s amazing
Comedian and writer Robert Webb has debunked ‘gender nonsense’ in an epic TV rant.
The Peep Show star was appearing on Channel 4 News to promote his new memoir, How Not To Be a Boy.
In the interview Webb was asked about he explains gender rules to his two daughters.
Webb explained that he expects his six-year-old daughter, Esme, to face a barrage of gender expectations soon, as she goes through school.
He told anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy: “Well, we have this thing in our family called ‘the trick’.
“‘The trick’ is the family code word for the oncoming tide of gender nonsense that my daughters and their male friends at primary school are going to have to spend their lives wading through.
“You know, gender conditioning essentially.
“The way boys and girls are told that they have to behave in different ways, and that they have different roles to play in life, depending on the content of the front of their pants rather than the content of their character.”

He then explains that his daughter wanted to wear a superman costume instead of a princess outfit to non-uniform day at school.
Asked by Webb’s wife what their daughter should say, should other kids laugh, the six-year-old answered: “Shall I tell them they’re laughing because of ‘the trick’ that makes men sad and women get rubbish jobs?”
The TV interview has now been viewed almost a million times on Facebook.
