Mariah Carey has revealed some very exciting news for fans.
The mega-selling queen of Christmas is to perform a set of very special shows in the UK this festive season.
The All I Want for Christmas singer broke the news to fans on Facebook.
Mariah will be taking to the stage at the Manchester Arena on 10 December, and London’s O2 arena, 11 September.
The shows will be her first outing for the yuletide set in the UK, after a string of performances across America.
She performed more than 50 dates in Las Vegas over two years, with sell-out crowds coming to indulge in her back catalogue.
Now Brits will be able to get their hands on tickets to show as of 8 September.
Mariah wrote: “#UK #Lambs, prepare to get festive! I’m excited to bring my ‘All I Want For Christmas’ concert series to Manchester + London this December! Public on sale: Friday, Sept 8th”
The star has built up a considerable gay following over the years, being awarded a GLAAD award for her commitment to LGBT equality.
She previously paid a moving tribute to her late friend George Michael.
The superstar American singer had been a fan and friend of the Wham! icon during his life.
When he passed, she posted a message about him on her website that reads: “George was not only a great musician, he was an active ambassador in the LBGTQ community, pushing for greater understanding, acceptance, and love for all people.
“He touched so many lives and inspired us all.”
She later shared a video of her singing that cover of One More Try at a live concert in Dubai, captioning the video, “We miss you, George Michael.”
“I always loved it, I always loved him,” Mariah said before she sang the song.
“He was a really great person. So we’ll make it through this.”
