Anti-gay Ted Cruz laughs off bisexual adult film incident

After his Twitter account ‘liked’ an incestuous, bisexual adult film, homophobic politician Ted Cruz has suggested he should have done so during his presidential campaign.

The family values-conscious politician seemingly approved of an adult film involving a “cheating mom” having a threesome with her stepdaughter and a man last night.

The former presidential candidate, who once presided over a legal team which wrote that people had no right to masturbate, faced accusations of hypocrisy after the like went viral.

His account liked the titillating content last night, since when the Texas Senator has received widespread press coverage and been mocked ceaselessly online.

But he said that considering the amount of column inches dedicated to the incident, it might have been wise to cause a similar stir when he was taking on Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.

“There are a number of people on the team who have access to the account, he explained to the Washington Post.

“It appears that someone inadvertently hit the ‘like’ button and when we discovered the post, which was I guess an hour or two later, we pulled it down.

“It was a staffing issue and it was inadvertent, it was a mistake, it was not a deliberate action.”

“We’re dealing with it internally but it was a mistake, it was not malicious conduct,” he added.

The anti-same-sex marriage politician would not say which member of his team liked the tweet, adding that disciplinary action over the incident was “still being discussed”.

He added, lightheartedly: “This was not how I envisioned waking up this morning.

“Although, I will say that if I had known that this would trend so quickly, then perhaps we should have posted something like this during the Indiana primary.”

Cruz lost the Indiana primary to Trump by more than 16 percentage points.

People’s reaction to the news that Cruz had liked an adult film was priceless.

Adult film site Pornhub asked the Senator: “do you need a premium membership?? I know a guy”.

And it added: “I found the full video @tedcruz but it’s Premium only. DM for user/password.”
