Another must watch? RuPaul’s Drag Race, of course.
Last night, viewers of the bread week episode of GBBO were treated to a tasty pun and wonderful surprise as Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig made a reference to Emmy-winning Drag Race.
The pun, which was perfected by Sandi, came as Noel told the bakers that they are going “drag racing”.
“PruPaul’s drag race,” Sandi retorted.

The exceptional pun had all the bakers in stitches.
One contestant, Tom, even tweeted after the episode that he had been laughing about the joke for months.
In yet another amazing twist, the Bake Off Twitter account tweeted about it and got a response from the official Drag Race account sparking a number of puns shared between the two shows.
