Aaron Carter left shell shocked as he receives HIV test results
Aaron Carter has been forced to take an HIV test weeks after he came out as bisexual.
The troubled pop star, brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, sobbed on US television as he revealed his health fears.
The performerās weight has plummeted to dangerous levels in recent weeks.
The fall in weight loss and risky sexual activities had left him fearing it was related to becoming HIV-positive.
āI need help, Iām scared,ā he tells the hosts of The Doctors in a clip from Thursdayās show.
Carter also claims he is addicted to cosmetic surgery and painkillers, as well as addressing rumours heās been using crack cocaine and meth.
Weighing just 115 pounds at six foot tall, he took an HIV test, along with a series of other STI checks.
āThat was the scariest thing I have ever done in my life,ā he told hosts after taking the test.
āAfter not getting annual checkups and testing and being safe, actually, being safe so I could be safe for others, more importantly.
āThatās what scared me. I felt like I was putting people at risk with my bodyā¦ I didnāt have the courage to go face the music.ā

Medical experts Dr Travis Stork and Dr Jorge Rodriguez warned Aaron that he would have to make huge changes in his life if he wants to avoid serious health problems.
The singer looked shell shocked as Dr Rodriguez informed he was HIV-negative.
He also said that he tested negative for all other STIs.
āYou are malnourished, and your body mass index at 17 is in a scary range,ā Dr Stork told him.
āWe canāt just sit here and blame it on a hiatal hernia. We have got to work on this.ā
The US celeb has admitted to becoming addicted to prescription drugs and cosmetic work in the years since.
āI get fillers. Restylane, Voluma, Rejuviderm. I get all three, and Iām going to continue doing it.
āIt makes me smile in the mirror,ā he says.
āI see a pretty good looking guy, Iām just skinny.ā
He adds: āAnd I just want to get better.ā
Carter came out as bisexual earlier this year using a quote from Boy George.
