Michelle Rounds, ex-wife of Rosie O’Donnell, dies age 46
Michelle rounds, the ex-wife of Rosie O’Donnell, has been found dead at her home at the age of 46.
TMZ reported that Michelle killed herself as he mother reportedly wrote on Facebook reaching out to others struggling with suicidal thoughts.
The post, which was also about her daughter’s death, read: “If anyone would like to give to the National Suicide Prevention it would also be greatly appreciated.
“There are so many out there in this world that have demons that they think suicide is the only way out.”
O’Donnell said that she was “saddened” by the news and sent her wishes to the family of Rounds.
She said in a statement: “I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy.
“Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle’s family, her wife Krista, and their child.”
The cause of death has not been officially confirmed.
However, O’Donnell responded to reports that it was an apparent suicide.
The obituary for Rounds says that she “died unexpectedly”.
Rounds is survived by her wife, parents, brother, two daughters, step-son and other family members.

A private memorial service will be held in her memory.
Rounds and O’Donnell were married in June 2012 but divorced in March 2016.
O’Donnell filed for divorce after leaving The View.
They had their daughter, Dakota, now four-years-old, together.
